Has anyone tried acupuncture to help conceive?

I know very little about acupuncture but would like to look into it to help me conceive. If you’ve tried it to help you get pregnant please let me know what it was like, if you think it worked, how much it cost and how you found the person who did it. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

All I can tell you is….
My cousin and his wife had a hard time conceiving and had a miscarriage and they tried for about 2 years. She was going to see a fertility specialist but decided to try acupuncture instead and got pregnant within a couple months. So, it does work. The price…I don’t know. I would look in your telephone book under the yellow pages under acupuncture and go from there!
My sis-in-law tried it after hormone treatments but before IVF. She was 35 @ the time. I think she found hers through a holistic clinic. Not sure of the cost, but her Flexible Spending Account allowed the claim so they got it back.
Can’t say it did or didn’t work: she finally scheduled IVF (retrievals, etc), and then got pregnant on her own. The stress of ‘trying’ was gone, which is why the acupuncture can’t really hurt — it will help relax you if nothing else! Good luck!!!!!!!
I’ve done 2 IVF cycles, the first one w/o acupuncture and the second one with. I don’t know if the acupuncture is what made the difference, but I did get pregnant the second cycle (although I later miscarried).
Go to Chinese Herbs shops they do acupuncture as well.
It is not cheap but affordable
