My chinese doctor who gives me acupuncture and herbs told me a few months back that I probably have an ulcer. I have been experiencing stomach pain, but not often and I thought it was going away.
Tonight I had sudden lower abdominal pain, and went to the bathroom and had liquidy blackish diahrea. Is it bleeding?If it is, how long can I wait before going to the doctor because I don’t think I can tonight.

My husband has had 2 shoulder surgeries. After the first one the injury tore open again, but he didn’t know. (before he met me). After he complained about his shoulder hurting all the time, I convinced him to go to the doctor, they did a MRI, and sewed him back up again. NOW the pain is worse, he practically slings his arm everyday. My aunt referred us to a doctor who did her shoulder surgery (which she’s had no trouble with). He did another MRI and says it looks like the last surgeon sewed everything to tightly, BUT it could be a pinched nerve in his neck too. oiy…. He doesn’t have another appointment for 3 weeks, and the only pain meds they will give him is Ibuprofen.

I’ve heard really good things about acupuncture….has anyone tried it for severe pain? Has it worked?
