I went to the doctors today to have acupuncture for a nerve issue which resulted from a lesion on my brain. Just after the needles were in my body i started to shake, get hot and cold flushes i threw up and fainted. I now have extreme pain and a headache in the left side of my upper body (this is the side that my nerve issue was on). Is this normal? if not what should i do from here?
Any help would be really appreciated as i have been really sick for 3 weeks now.

In America, you don’t need to have a doctor’s degree to practice acupuncture. Acupuncturists would to school for 3-4 years studying acupuncture and then get a certificate that they completed their study and are tested on their knowledge. How about in Egypt?
@ Warrior Angel.. I know that. However, can a European or American go to Egypt and practice acupunture with the certification or do they need to be a doctor?
